Celebrating Mexican Fashion in London


Fashion & Design, an event that presented the Spring / Summer 2016 collections of five national designers at a Mexican night to celebrate the proclamation of independence, and publicize the talent in the country and abroad on the occasion of the bilateral year between Britain and Mexico.


Fashion Week Mexico, in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in the United Kingdom, were responsible for organizing this event at the Victoria & Albert Museum, one of the highlights of London. The evening began with a welcome cocktail to make way for a few moments after a large sample of Mexican events that have happened in this country over the year. Ambassador Diego Gomez Pickering, gave a word of thanks, and later give way to’Ohtli’ award ceremony, which is to assess the efforts of our compatriots abroad, making very specific actions for the benefit of the Mexican community outside their country.
